SUMMARY

I was appointed as a Lecturer at º£½ÇÆƽâ°æin 2022. I have a wide experience in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery with a subspecialty in musculoskeletal / orthopedic oncology surgery. I have a leading role in championing care in musculoskeletal tumour patient care in the larger northrift region, Kenya.

My roles in the department are lecturing orthopedic surgery sessions for all undergraduate groups as well as supervising post graduate orthopedic surgery FCS post graduate students. I work with a tremendous team in what is one of the most challenging and rewarding positions that I have held. My research interest is in advancing clinical research in orthopedic surgery, surgical anatomy, community medicine programs and greatly in musculoskelal oncology. My work in oncology and cancer care has been inspired by the scarcity of musculoskeletal oncology services and the high cost of care for these patients in our resource limited setting. I have several publications focusing mainly on orthopedic advances and musculoskeletal cancer care and my future focus is on knowledge availability and patient care advances in cancer care.
