SUMMARY

Prof. Ambula holds a PhD in Animal Production (Nutrition option), MSc and BSc in Animal Production from Egerton University. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at º£½ÇÆƽâ°æwhere she has served with dedication in her current position since August 2021. Prof. Ambula executes different duties and responsibilities: instructing and supervising under graduate and post-graduate students; coordinating field/industrial attachment, student academic advising, Chair, Research & Consultancy Committee of the Department, Programme Coordinator, Animal Nutrition Group, Chair, Post-graduate curricula review, internal theses examiner, member, Animal Science & Faculty of Agriculture post graduate committees and Secretary º£½ÇÆƽâ°æResearch Ethics Review Committee among others. Her track record in the Department has been exemplary. Prof. Ambula serves as external examiner for University of Eldoret and Gulu University in Uganda. She is a reviewer for Egerton Journal of Science & Technology and reviews protocols for the Division of Research & Extension. Prof. Ambula is self-driven, a good team player and has worked tirelessly to uphold the tenets of the Department and those of the University at large. She is actively involved in her local church, serving as Deputy Archbishop in Ministry of Repentance & Holiness, works closely with women and youth, offering mentorship both in spiritual matters and livestock farming activities.
