Professor Kibwage toured each stand at the ASK Show, taking the time to speak with exhibitors who showcased their groundbreaking innovations. Upon receiving the medals awarded by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, the Vice Chancellor addressed his team, expressing his happiness with their performance and emphasizing his hope for even greater success in future events.
"I am indeed happy with our performance. This is a good show and I hope that we shall win more trophies in the next years' event. For the Agricultural fair, it is obvious that we are the premier University leading in this sector," Professor Kibwage said, then took time to celebrate and pose for photos with the trophies won.

In addition, the University secured the first position in the Best University Stand, and Best Stand in Research & Development.
Among the categories won in line with the Show's theme "Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiative for Sustainable Economic Growth," are: the second position in two highly competitive categories: Best Stand in Youth Activities, Empowerment, and Capacity Building; and Best Agro-processing Stand.
The award ceremony was a vibrant and colorful affair, attended by prominent figures such as Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture Hon. Mithika Linturi, and Members of Parliament including Hon. Purity Ngirici, Nakuru West MP Arama Samuel, Nakuru East MP David Gikaria, and Bahati MP Irene Njoki. The presence of these esteemed individuals underscored the significance of Egerton University's contributions to the agricultural sector.
