the KEMRI / Wellcome Trust Research Programme has been working in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in health facilities to help develop approaches to optimize the use of routine hospital data to improve the quality of care for inpatient children and newborns and help create better inpatient data so that it can be used in monitoring the quality of care and informing quality improvement initiatives.
