SUMMARY

I am a Lecturer  at Egerton University, Faculty of Health Sciences, department of Nursing. My career objective is to be an expert in clinical interventions, teaching and research in line with the Vision, Mission and Objectives of Egerton University, my aim is to pursue scholarly excellence and generate and disseminate knowledge and skills to students and healthcare workers through training and mentorship to help in mitigation of disease and suffering.

  • 2021: Participated in formulating scope of practice and guidelines for Advanced Practice Nursing(APN] in Kenya.
  • 2018-2020 Guided and reviewed Undergraduate BSCN and higher diploma curriculums for various institutions to include St.Pauls University, Careen Hospital School of Nursing (Cardiology Nursing).
  • 2018-Part of a team of experts who reviewed the duration of training of nursing at different levels and reviewed the number of years of training of diploma in Nursing program from 31/2 years to 3years through a final inter-Universities consultative meeting at Meru university.
