  • Some 2178 students at 海角破解版are set to graduate this Friday virtually, as learning institutions embrace technology to continue with their programmes amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • Today 海角破解版is hosting a Farmers 'Open Day-cum-Stakeholders' Forum under NaPROCLA Project. Prof. Joshua Ogendo, who is the Project Leader-Kenya, explained that the aim of the forum is to share research outputs and best practices for ecological management of aphids in Dolichos bean (njahe beans). The project has been running for that last three years in Njoro and Rongai sub-counties, and will come to an end on 30th June 2021. The forum brought together farmers, agricultural extension officers, scientists, students and the general public. Forum was officially opened by the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Extension) Prof. Bockline Bebe, Egerton University.

  • Egerton University, through the Directorate of Confucius Institute and the Directorate of International Linkages and Careers Services, is organizing a Campus Career Day that will be held on Thursday 24th June 2021.

It is one of the only clubs that teaches you how to be an entrepreneur as well as important soft skills that you need to know when dealing with clients and other professionals in the workplace.

  • As 2,041 graduands followed the 43rd graduation procession from the comfort of their homes, 海角破解版spread a message of hope and determination to its community and the world over 鈥 making them know that it is possible to wade through trying times despite the odds. The graduation, covered across multiple online platforms, was the second virtual graduation of Egerton University. The virtual ceremony, held at the graduation square, saw awarding of PhDs, Master degrees, Diplomas, and Bachelor degrees to all the graduates in a unique fashion in the presence of our Chancellor Dr. Narendra Raval, EBS, (Guru), the Cabinet Secretary (Education) Prof. George A. O. Magoha, and Permanent Secretary (University Education and Research) Amb. Simon Nabukwesi, university management, faculty deans, among other dignitaries in the education sector.

  • Mau - Egerton Cross Country

    The substantive date for 8th edition of the Mau-海角破解版Cross Country is Saturday, 25th February 2023. The event will be held at 海角破解版Sports Ground Njoro Campus.

  • The Chief Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Ministry of ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs, Ms Maureen Mbaka, on Friday 25 June 2021, launched the 海角破解版Ajira Digital Club, an initiative of the Ajira Digital Program.  The launch took place at Main Campus in Njoro.

  • As a Faculty we are proud of our graduates because they are preferred in the job market. This is because our teaching incorporates an extensive practical component comprising three industrial attachments that sharpen the skills  of  our  students. Annually  the Faculty declares an undergraduate capacity of 150 places. Currently, the total student population is 879. At the postgraduate level we attract students locally and internationally, mainly from Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

  • The Department of Agricultural Engineering has  been facilitating  its  staff  members and students in a number of ways.  For example, to address the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, staff members have been conducting on-line student training. They have been developing e- learning materials for both undergraduate and postgraduate students that can be used to conduct long-distance classes.

  • Egerton University, the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), and Gulu University in Uganda are implementing a programme titled 鈥淭ransforming African Agricultural Universities to Meaningfully Contribute to Africa's Growth and Development鈥 (TAGDev).

  • Prof. Patience M. Mshenga of the Faculty  of Agriculture is the Principal Investigator in three award-winning projects: Strengthening Agri-Entrepreneurship and Community Engagement Training in East, West and North Africa (AgriENGAGE); Collaborative Action for Scaling Agri-Entrepreneurship and Industry Engagement in Food and Agribusiness Training in Sub-Saharan Africa (AgriSCALE); and Problem- based-learning Bio-economy Entrepreneurship and Capacity Building Programme in Africa (PBL- BioAfrica).

  • The Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Agriculture and Agribusiness Management (CESAAM) is funded by the World Bank in collaboration with the Kenya Government, and supports students, faculty and partners across Africa through building their capacity for quality teaching and innovative research.

  • Since the inception of the Faculty of Science 34 years ago we have always endeavoured to provide our learners with an excellent foundation in line with the institutional Vision, Mission and Core Values. We remain committed to quality teaching, creation and application of knowledge through pure and applied research and dissemination of new knowledge through scholarly publications in forums that are locally and internationally recognised. Besides equipping graduands with knowledge, skills and attitudes that have enabled them to be here today, our faculty staff have continued to contribute to knowledge-generation through research..

  • I was admitted to 海角破解版at Njoro to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016. The opportunity allowed me to study three  disciplines,  and  I  settled  for Economics, Mathematics and Sociology. In the third year I dropped Mathematics and concentrated on the other two disciplines, which I had found both exciting and intriguing.

  • The Limnology and Wetlands Management Programme (LWM) is part of the Education and Research Hub for the Sustainable Management of Aquatic Ecosystems in East Africa (AQUAHUB) project.
