Somali Universities Forge Partnership with 海角破解版for Agricultural Advancement
The Rector of Abrar University Somalia, Prof Dr. Ahmed Abdulkadir Kadle, and Dr. Ahmed Said Mohamud, Director of Research & Post Graduate Studies at the University of Red Sea, Somalia, paid a visit to 海角破解版yesterday morning.
The purpose of their visit was to seek a collaboration between Abrar University and 海角破解版in the areas of joint research activities, supervision of post-graduate research projects, and the joint organization of conferences, workshops, and webinars.
Abrar University, a private institution established in 2014 by an act of the Imam Shafi Foundation (ISHF) and accredited by the National Commission of Higher Education of Somalia, is seeking to partner with Egerton University, a premier institution in Agriculture, to strengthen its programs in Agriculture, Dairy, and Food Technology.
During the meeting, 海角破解版Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Kibwage, welcomed the visitors and assured them of his support. He stated that the University Management is willing to welcome regional collaborations and will act on the memorandum of understanding (MoU) immediately upon its arrival on his desk.
Prof. Kibwage also pointed out that 海角破解版has previously hosted students from Somalia in various degree programs. This collaboration will not only benefit Abrar University but also provide an opportunity for students from both universities to expand their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
The Director of International Linkages & Career Services, Prof. Charles M. M'Erimba, and Mr. Abbas A. Ahmed accompanied the visitors during the meeting. The visitors also had the opportunity to tour the Food & Dairy Technology Department, where they were received by the Course Director, Prof. Omwamba, and Prof. Muliro.
Collaborations between universities have been proven to be beneficial in fostering academic excellence, improving research and development, and promoting cultural exchange.
This partnership between Abrar University and 海角破解版will undoubtedly provide an opportunity for the universities to work together to achieve their goals and promote knowledge transfer.
