KEY PROJECTS

 

  1.  PhD Thesis: Youth engagement in development interventions in Homa Bay County, Kenya. Makerere University.  . Completed in 2023
  2. I participated in the research conducted on behalf of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Centre of Excellence in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (ICEP/CVE) to gather information to develop a youth and civil society engagement strategy to combat violent extremism, thereby strengthening CSOs and youth networks at the national and regional level. Completed successfuly
  3. In the 2015/2016 financial year, HELB granted me a research award for a project titled Determinants of Youth Participation in Socioeconomic Development in Homa Bay County, Kenya. Funds returned because another funding round on the same idea was secured.
  4. MA Thesis: Effectiveness of Households’ Participation in NGO-Supported Projects in Homa Bay District, Kenya. Egerton University. Completed in 2013
