This is in refernce to the information that appeared in the media that our students died in a road accident on Sunday, 28th at Chepseo along Nakuru - Kericho Highway.

We have followed up the matter and confirmed that the students mentioned were not from Egerton University.

Our sincere condolonces to the parents and families who lost their loved ones in the accident.

This is further to our Notice issued earlier on suspension of physical learning dated 27^th March 2021.

After further consultations on the 15^th Presidential directive on corona virus, we have been instructed that the University be closed until further notice except for medical students.

All students are therefore required to vacate the University premises with immediate effect taking along their valuable items.

This is to inform all continuing Students that reporting for 2020/2021 academic year and completion of 2019/2020 academic year will take place on 23rd and 24th January 2021 as follows:

Effective the semester begining on 25th January 2021, all students will be required to pre-register for units in their portal. You are therefore rewuired to pre-register for units by 29th January 2021. Pre-registration of units informs us that you will be attending the semester. Failure to pre-register will indicate that you are deferring the academic year. Pre-registration is not linked to fee payment.
