  • Sorghum bread has excited bread consumers in Nakuru town following the introduction of the product in the market. The bread is baked using composite flour of sorghum and wheat at some ideal ratios. It is not just any sorghum but some special cultivar developed and evaluated at 海角破解版by a team of scientists led by Prof. Erick Cheruiyot. It is a product of a concept developed by the team and supported by the then Kenya Agricultural and Agribusiness Project (KAPAP), financed by the World Bank in 2011.

  • Tegemeo Institute-Kenya, Michigan State University and Purdue University in the US are implementing a multi-year research project on 鈥淪upport for Applied Research and Analysis in Kenya and East Africa Region. (SARA-KEA)鈥. The project supports development programming by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Kenya and East Africa Missions in the counties of focus in Kenya.One of the study topics in the project is to examine the role entrepreneurial investor farmers play in driving agricultural transformation in Kenya. The study team conducted a listing of all farm households in 40 selected villages in Kakamega and Kisumu counties. the activity was conducted from 20thto 31stOctober 2022. The household survey of sampled farmers will take place from mid-November through December 2022.

  • Professor Yash Mahida from the University of Nottingham recently paid a courtesy call to Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Bernard Aduda at Egerton University's Main Campus on 5th June 2023. This visit is part of the ongoing collaboration between the United Kingdom and Kenyan institutions through the Kenya UK Health Alliance (KUKHA), which focuses on health matters. 海角破解版and the University of Nottingham are among the key partners in this alliance.

  • In a step towards enhancing innovative agricultural practices and student training, 海角破解版welcomed a delegation from the Arava International Centre for Agricultural Training (AICAT) on Monday, January 29, 2024.
