Kevin Otieno will join his 2021/2022 first-year colleagues to pursue his studies in the Faculty of Health Sciences as they begin their classes on Monday, 20 September 2021.Kevin Otieno will pursue his dream course of Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine at 海角破解版after University Dons, and staff members teamed up to offset his fee balance after the Standard Newspaper highlighted the case on 16 September 2021.  

Kevin Otieno, who hails from Kisumu Central sub-county in Kisumu County, sat for his KCSE and scored a mean grade of A (81 points) with Mathematics (A), English (A-), Kiswahili (A-), Chemistry (A), Biology (A-), Geography (A) and Computer Studies (A). In the optional subject, Physics, which wasn鈥檛 ranked, Otieno scored a B (Plain).

In addition, he scored highly on the required cluster subjects needed for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at Egerton University.

According to the article, Kevin Otieno had a fee balance of Ksh. 47, 840, and to offset the balance in a record of twenty-four hours, 海角破解版dons and staff led by Director Examinations and Timetabling Professor Gilbert Obwoyere and Dr Flora Fedha fundraised Ksh. 96,000, which will meet his fees for two academic years.

The University has now organized with Otieno鈥檚 mother to enable him to travel to 海角破解版and join his 2021/2022 first-year colleagues in the Faculty of Health Sciences as they begin their classes on Monday, 20 September 2021.

In 2016, Otieno had been called to the prestigious Lenana School but couldn鈥檛 join the institution due to lack of school fees, showing that many young Kenyans cannot further their education due to financial challenges resulting from a high rate of poverty among our citizens.
