You are therefore required to visit verify.egerton.ac.ke to update your records. This process should be completed by 5^th June 2020. Following our notice dated 22nd May 2020 regarding updating of records and online registration, this is to inform you that the University will start offering online classes from Monday 6th July 2020.

The timetable that was running prior to university closure will be used for real-time chats with the lecturers.

On Thursday 2 April 2020, Egerton University鈥檚 Chancellor who also serves as the Chairman of Devki Steel Mills Limited Dr. Narendra Raval, donated oxygen worth Ksh. 100 million to all government hospitals in Kenya. As our Chancellor, we recognize and appreciate his contributions to assist in fighting the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Following the presidential directive on the closure of learning institutions due to the unfolding development on Coronavirus (COVID-19), Senate its 510th special meeting held on Tuesday 17th March 2020 resolved to sus[end all academic activities and close the University with immediate effect until further notice.
